Due to significant damage caused by birds, the synthetic grass surface of the Attunga tennis courts are being replaced.

Work will begin in mid-late July 2021 and is expected to take about 5 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Working hours will be between 7am and 5pm on weekdays.

This project will align with Blueprint 100's vision to enhance quality of life for the region, as the courts provide a great meeting point for the local Attunga community, and encourage residents to live a healthy active lifestyle.

This project has been made possible by the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program, with the Tamworth region benefiting from $6 million in total to be spent improving local infrastructure. In the first phase of funding, our region was allocated $2.65 million, with a further $3.41 million received under the program’s second phase.
