The Community Strategic Plan 2025-2035 will guide the direction of the Tamworth region for the next 10 years.

Council has created the draft plan following collaboration with you - our community. It aims to capture your vision for the future.

Last year there was a community survey to gather your ideas. Then there was further consultation through focus group sessions at locations across the region.

Now we have the draft Community Strategic Plan 2025-2035 on public exhibition to provide a further opportunity for you to tell us what path you want our region to take. We want you to voice what’s important to you and shape our region’s future.

The plan will be Council's key strategic document and will influence all other strategies we produce.

The plan is reviewed every four years, after an election to ensure it aligns with the community’s aspirations. It’s Council’s role to put together your ideas to reveal your vision.

The plan is developed as a reference for Council, state government agencies, community groups, non-government organisations, businesses and individuals, who all play a part in building our region in the years ahead.
