The Tamworth Regional Council Draft Graffiti Management Plan 2025–2030 outlines a coordinated and proactive approach to reducing graffiti vandalism throughout the Tamworth region. Developed in consultation with the Tamworth Regional Community Safety Working Group, local police, businesses and community stakeholders, the Plan provides a clear roadmap for managing and preventing graffiti and its social, environmental, and economic impacts.

The Plan explains what graffiti is, why it occurs, and how it currently affects the community. It also details how Council and its partners presently manage graffiti incidents and identifies key stakeholders involved in prevention and response efforts.

The Plan features seven key objectives: Engagement, Prevention, Education, Reporting, Removal, Diversion, and Enforcement. The Plan's actions aim to create cleaner, safer public spaces while fostering community pride and encouraging positive behaviour.

A report based on feedback received during the public exhibition will then be presented to Councillors for their consideration later this year.
