New policy for residents who receive government payments

Tamworth region residents and ratepayers who receive a government pension may opt to have property related debt payments made via Services Australia utilising a system called Centrepay.

In order to provide this service to ratepayers, Council is required to have a specific Complaints and Procedures Policy. The draft Centrepay Complaints and Procedures Policy is based on the model policy released by Services Australia.
