White Street carpark is located at the intersection of Kable Avenue and White Street, and is within a 3-minute walk to the CBD. Work has started on extending the carpark by 40 spaces, which will include two disability parking spaces and six motorcycle spaces.

Work is is expected to be completed by July 2020.

The demand for long and short stay parking will continue to increase as the Tamworth region strives towards a population of 100,000 people over the next 20 years, and supports Council’s objective of creating an accessible region, and a region of opportunity and prosperity.
