Since our last update, Council has completed the preliminary investigations and reports and is well progressed with the detailed design. We have now commenced meeting with residents to discuss impacts due to the proposed works.

We would also like to advise that the Tender for the Design and Construction of the bridge is currently being advertised for contractor submissions. The contract is anticipated to be awarded by Council during May with design commencing shortly after and construction likely to commence in mid to late 2020.

Further updates will be provided once a successful contractor has been selected and as the bridge design has progressed.
