As the existing public toilet amenities were no longer up to standard, the toilet facility next to the Kootingal Hall has been replaced with a toilet facility in Memory Park.

The new Kootingal facilities have been constructed in Memory Park to service the playground, with the existing toilet amenities next to the Kootingal Hall demolished. Hall users should not be affected by this location change, as the new design for the Kootingal Hall and Library will contain a bathroom within the refurbished building.

This project will continue to ensure access to clean accessible public toilets is available for residents and visitors passing through Kootingal. The new facility have been upgraded to meet disabled and ambulant access standards.
