A new shared pathway has been constructed between Griffin Avenue and Monteray Street, on the western side of the street (adjacent to St Mary's Catholic Church).

The new path completes the existing pathway on Bligh Street between Peel Street and Griffin Avenue, which began construction in 2020. The path also provides a link to the existing pathway already constructed from Monteray Street to the Mountain Bike Park on Forest Road.
