Tamworth residents love to enjoy our beautiful Peel River, with many members of our community regularly walking and cycling along the riverbank. This route has undergone an upgrade, with several sections of shared pathway for pedestrians and cyclists constructed along the Peel River.

As part of this upgrade, a shared pathway was built from Locks Lane Car Park to Gipps Street Car Park along the riverbank.

However, as this path suffered significant damage during recent floods, repair works will soon be undertaken.
