What is happening?
A new 200mm diameter rising sewer main is being constructed in Calala. The new sewer main will link the Harrier Parade sewer pump station and the Calala Lane sewer pump station.
Residents and road users may notice some minor changes in traffic conditions during the project. Please ensure you follow all signage and drive to the conditions.
Works are expected to take 13 weeks to complete.

Why is it happening?
This $485,000 project aligns with Council’s priority to deliver of durable infrastructure for a growing population under Blueprint 100. The upgraded sewer main will reduce the risk of pipe failure in the future and improve maintenance access.
To minimise cost and the impact of residents this project will run in conjunction with the Campbell Road roundabout and Dungowan Pipeline projects.
