Project Background Information

Tamworth Regional Council carries out an ongoing rehabilitation program of sewer mains utilising various methods. During the past 2 years, Council has completed approximately 40 kilometers of closed circuit television survey of sewer mains. From this and previous surveys, a condition assessment was completed and a number of Sewer lines were selected for rehabilitation.

Sewer main rehabilitation works will involve the cleaning, closed circuit television (CCTV) condition assessment, lining and patch repair of gravity sewer mains. In total 12.5km of sewer mains around Tamworth city will be rehabilitated costing $2.29mil.
