Introduction
The playground which shows council and the community working together. It will include one-of-a-kind components designed with input from Woolomin Public School children and local residents.
The design includes components which encourage
fine-motor skill play, gross-motor skill play and imaginative play as well as
promoting an accessible and inclusive space for children of all abilities.
The Woolomin Playground has been made possible from a number of sources:
- Tackling Tough Times Funding
- Tamworth Regional Council; and
- Woolomin Local Committee contribution
The Woolomin School kids have played an integral part in designing the play components that will be included in the playground.

Children's wishes for the playground
Maiyas wish includes sandpit, big slide, shade, old tractor, 2 toy cars on springs
Williams wish is a skate bowl, sand pits, slide, dinosaur, zipline, see saw, old car, bike track, cubby house, mary-go-round, monkey bars.
